You are probably here to find a unique gift for her, your wife or girlfriend for that special occasions such as birthday, wedding anniversary, Valentines day. I am sure that you are like most guys, who think that the more unique the gift is, the better it is. I think you are like me who find it a joy to surprise her with my gift and know that I found something she likes.
But somehow, our minds are wired to think that the more expensive the gift is, the more likely she will love it. Well that is nothing near the truth. You see, the best gift may not always be the most showy or expensive. It has to be something that tell her that you heard her all these while, you are always thinking of her, you know her needs, etc.
I have overheard some women talking and they said that the gifts from their spouses are meant to show off to their friends. The type of gifts you buy her is dependent on how well you know her. If she is your wife, you can buy more personal stuff for her but not for a girl whom you just met.
For us, giving gifts are usually for special occasions. There must be an occasion first before we will look for the gift. But not so for women. If they find something that is suitable for you, they will buy it first. Then they will find reason to give you the present. Trust me, there is always a reason to give you a gift. Of course, I am not asking you to be like them, but knowing how they think will help you find that unique gift for her.
